Jamshedpur, Jan. 30: ABMP Adarsh Uchcha Vidyalaya in Rahargora, Telco, organized its 53rd annual sports day at the school premises on Saturday.
The event was inaugurated by S K Kaushik, principal of the school.
The day started with colorful march past by the students followed by different sporting events were 800 students from four different houses including Red, Green, Blue and Yellow participated.
Altogether 56 sporting competitions were held during the day wherein students displayed their talents and won medals.
With 187 points, Yellow House emerged the champion followed by Blue House with 123 points. Banshi Tudu was declared the best male athlete, while Puja Hembram was best female athlete.
Hanumant Rao, vice-president of school managing committee, was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes among winners.
