Noamundi, Jan. 30: Tata DAV Public School, Noamundi, observed the Martyrs� Day on Saturday. On the occasion, the Teacher in-charge Ambika Prasad Dubey along with all the teachers and students paid floral tribute to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.
Addressing the students, Dubey said that Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life for the unity and integrity of India.
�The path of truth and non-violence followed by Gandhi is still relevant to the present world. We must take inspiration from his life.
He also explained that India became popular because of Mahtma Gandhi.� The program concluded with the bhajan �Raghupati Raghva Raja Ram,� sung collectively by the students and teachers.
