Jamshedpur: Little Flower School (LFS) celebrated its 56th Annual Sports Day on November 25 at the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, Telco. The school flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest Mrs. and Mr. V.N. Singh, Head Administration Tata Motors Ltd. and Guest of Honour Uma Pandey, Principal of LFS Partner School, MEUV, Laxminagar.

Based on the theme ‘Embracing Diversity for Peace and Harmony’, the school sent out a clear message to the community that embracing diversity and celebrating our differences is the need of the hour for a peaceful coexistence. The function began with a majestic Marchpast Parade, solemn Torch relay, Sports Oath and Prayer Song, followed by a variety of exhilarating sporting events and mesmerising School Band and drill displays. The day brought together athletes from all grades as well as students of MEUV Laxminagar who participated in a total of thirty fun-filled and exciting events including 100 and 200 metre sprints and 4×100 metre relay races. The school band took centre stage with its musical prowess and camaraderie while the athletes were not left far behind in showcasing their athletic skills. Younger students also had their share of fun participating in short races which left the spectators thoroughly entertained and enthralled.
Yellow House was declared the overall champion. Yellow house also bagged the award for the March past.
Yellow and Blue house received awards for drill display while the Best captain trophy went to Red house.
This was followed by the Prize Distribution and Felicitation ceremony of the ASISC Champions of 2023 who did the school proud by winning the most coveted gold, silver and bronze medals at the National level.
