Jamshedpur: The Annual Sports Day 2023 of Sheyn International School was held on November 25. Chief Guest for the occasion was Kaushal Kishore, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jamshedpur.
The proceedings commenced with the resounding school anthem performed by the school choir.
Avinash Singh, Chairman of Sheyn International School, Sanjay Singh, Director, Jyoti Singh Pro-Vice Chairman and others were present.
Students of the four houses—Phoenix, Pegasus, Unicorn, and Griffin-marched impressively, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the school band.
The pinnacle of the day unfolded with the symbolic lighting of the Sheynite torch by the Chief Guest, Kaushal Kishore, carried in a relay by the Sheyn athletes.
The students embraced the spirit of the occasion with gusto, as the school sports captain administered the oath. Energetic performances and spirited cheers from the students captivated the audience, filling the air with resounding applause and heaps of encouragement.
The day’s triumphant house was Phoenix, securing the title of the winner, while Griffin claimed the runner-up position.
The shining stars of the day were- Best Athlete (Boys, Senior Category): Laxman Hembrom, Std: XII Science (Unicorn House).
Best Athlete (Boys, Junior Category): Vishal Singh Sardar, Std. III (Unicorn House). Best Athlete (Girls, Senior Category): Afrrah Khan, Std. XI Commerce (Phoenix House). Best Athlete (Girls, Junior Category): Rishika Raj, Std. V (Griffin House).
The young achievers were adorned with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, with Mr. Avinash Singh, Chairman of Sheyn International School, and the dignitaries present, expressing high appreciation for each sports star, affirming Sheynites’ commitment to nurturing and developing the potential of every child.
