Jamshedpur, March 27: The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in Jharkhand on March 30 and 31. The forecast indicates that the weather will deteriorate once again in the state, with light to moderate rain expected at various locations during this period.

According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is currently active in northeastern Assam and its surrounding areas. Additionally, a trough extending from North Karnataka to Vidarbha has been observed. Furthermore, a fresh western disturbance is anticipated to become active in the western Himalayan region starting from March 29. Moreover, a cyclonic circulation is positioned over western Rajasthan and adjacent areas. These weather phenomena are expected to contribute to the changing weather conditions in Jharkhand, attributed to a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal.

The forecast suggests that the inclement weather will persist for two days, with the possibility of light to moderate rain occurring at isolated places across Jharkhand on March 30 and 31. Additionally, thunderstorms may occur in certain areas during this period. The Meteorological Department has advised residents to remain vigilant regarding thunderstorm incidents during adverse weather conditions.

Furthermore, similar weather patterns are expected in Rajasthan, Odisha, and Bihar, indicating that the inclement weather will not be limited to Jharkhand alone. Residents are urged to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during the anticipated adverse weather conditions.
