Jamshedpur: In a bid to increase the average overall polling percentage of Jamshedpur constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the deputy commissioner-cum-district returning officer of East Singhbhum, Dr Amitabh Kaushal today held a meeting with students of XLRI Jamshedpur and sought suggestions from them to improve the polling percentage.
The students handed over �awareness interest desire action� plan to the DC for achieving the desired end.
The suggestions mainly include launching voters� awareness campaign and informing them about the benefits of voting to the society and the need to remove the hurdles.
Pasting hoardings, posters, handbills, making graffiti, broadcasting messages on radio, cable TV and helpoing voters in reaching to the polling booths and finding their names in voters� list were among other suggestions given to the DC by the XLRI students.
