Jamshedpur : XLRI Jamshedpur gears up to host TEDxXLRI event on February 10. TEDxXLRI will see speakers from different walks of life coming together on a single platform to share ideas formed by their varied experiences. The theme for this year�s TEDxXLRI is �The Road Less Travelled�.

Speaking on the theme , the organizer Parth Narielwala, a final year student at XLRI, said , �The world has become so fast-paced today that we hardly have time to sit and reflect on things.

We just do what we are told to do and following the general trend has become the norm. In this scenario where the Rat Race threatens to consume everyone, we as a part of TEDxXLRI want to implore people to try out the – Road Less Travelled.

So our selection of speakers reflect that, people who have ventured into the unknown and have come out with successful and glittering careers�.

Held for the first time in the city of Jamshedpur in 2014, TEDxXLRIhas helped bring to town an impressive line-up of speakers from various fields.

Inventor of Haptic footwear Krispian Lawrence, eminent journalist MsDiptaBhog, Graphic designer Akshar Pathak and Professor Tamonas Gangopadhyay were amongst those who addressed the students in the 2014 edition of TEDxXLRI themed �Infinite Possibilities�.

The speakers for this year�s event are Piyush Mishra: A prominent film and theatre actor, music director, lyricist, singer and scriptwriter.

Some of his most notable works are Black Friday ,Gulaal and Gangs of Wasseypur, Gopal Khanna: As Minnesota�s first Chief Information Officer(CIO) , he was a Recipient of Federal 100 Award for impact and innovation in a government agency in 2009. Prakash Iyer: A best-selling author, motivational speaker and leadership coach.

He was until recently the Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark Lever and was earlier the Managing Director and CEO of Infomedia India Limited (formerly Tata Infomedia). Dr. Jyotsna Jagannathan: A qualified doctor who then took up dancing.Now she is hailed as one of the most talented bharatanatyam dancers of her generations.

Saira Shekh: Kranti is an organization that educates and empowers trafficked girls, the daughters of sex workers, and otherwise socially marginalized. Saira is one of the members of Kranti. Franz Gastler: An American social activist, teacher and football coach who works primarily in India.

He is the co-founder and executive director of non-government organization (NGO) Yuwa who combat child marriage and human trafficking.

Sunil Khandbahale: An entrepreneur from Nashik, India. Sunil has built a technologically-enabled multilingual translation platform for 23 languages in 16 domains with an extensive vocabulary of 10 million words.

Anuj Gosalia :Founder and Curator of Terribly Tiny Tales a initiative on social media to promote aspiring and good writers.
