XLRI Jamshedpur-Ecoren partnership to drive innovation and student opportunities

Jamshedpur, September 22: XLRI – Xavier School of Management, one of India’s leading business schools, has strengthened its industry-academia ties by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ecoren Energy India Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer in innovative energy solutions.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George S.J., Director, XLRI Jamshedpur, and Dr. Swamy Reddy Uradi, Head of HR and Technology at Ecoren Energy India Pvt. Ltd. The ceremony was also attended by XLRI faculty members, including Prof. Kanagaraj A, Convener, Corporate Relations and Placements; Prof. Sunil Sarangi, Co-Convener; and Himanshu Shekhar, Senior Manager, Corporate Relations and Placements. From Ecoren Energy, Ramesh Nethi and Lalitha Rani Nissankararao graced the occasion.

The collaboration aims to create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and industry professionals, with a focus on developing live case studies in strategy, sustainability, and digital transformation relevant to the energy sector. It will also promote joint research projects addressing key challenges in energy management and technology, provide specialized training and consulting programs, and establish structured recruitment pathways for XLRI’s Business Management and Human Resource Management students.

Additionally, the partnership will include CXO talks and interactive sessions, connecting students directly with industry leaders.
