Jamshedpur: The BBA Department of XITE College, Gamharia, organized an educational industrial tour to Tata Cummins . A total of 50 students participated to gain hands-on exposure to industrial operations.
The session began with a briefing on Tata Cummins’ history and operations by Salil Roy from the Operational Excellence team. He offered insights into the company’s evolution and current practices.
Avinash led a detailed facility tour, explaining the manufacturing process, machine operations and assembly lines. The visit was highly interactive, offering real-world understanding of industrial management and production practices.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Amit Chaturvedi and Assistant Professor Reetika Singh.
