XITE College Gamharia hosts ‘Between the Lines’

Jamshedpur, July 6:  Department of English at XITE College Gamharia organised between the lines competition in memory of Kerala teacher PN Panicker on Wednesday. Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker is known as the Father of Library Movement.

As part of the competition Spell Bee, Reading Competition, Scavenger Hunt Competition for students and teachers of Department of Business Administration, Commerce, Economics and English.

Students of English department Ruchi Kumari, Kashish Thakur, Rachel Aditi Joseph, Ayushman Bodra, Ishika Mishra, Lily Bahaand, Aditya Biruli, Shreya Raj, Samantha Peter along with their team members conducted the program under the guidance of Prof. Shalukant.

Winners of the competition were Supriya Mohanty, Babai Mandal, Anil Jojowar, K.A. Peter, Amish Lakra, Harry Robin Toppo.

Principal of the college, Father Francis congratulated the participants, winners and the department for successfully organizing the program. On the occasion Vice Principal Father Mukti Clarence, faculty members Dr. Partha Priya Das, Dr. Pompey Sen Gupta, Dr. Sanchita GC, Prof. Amit Chaturvedi, Prof. Shailesh Dubey, Prof. Sushmita Sen and others  were present.
