Jamshedpur, April 28: Former BJP Telco unit president Manoj Pathak who died during treatment on Thursday, April 27 at Fortis Hospital in Delhi was flown in to Ranchi on Friday.
The dead body was later brought to Jamshedpur in an ambulance and it reached his Telco situated residence at 2 pm. The BJP Telco unit president Pappu Mishra and party workers had made arrangements for the funeral procession of the late BJP leader. Later, the family members desired to hold the last rites of Pathak in Banaras (Varanasi) and the ambulance left for the holy city where the last rites will be performed. Earlier, the body of Manoj Pathak was wrapped in BJP flag and was given tearful adieu.
Present on the occasion were state women commission chairperson Kalyani Sharan, Khadi Board member Kulwant Singh Bunty, BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, Pavan Agarwal, Khemlal Choudhary, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Gurdev Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Appa Rao, Satish Singh, Satyaprakash Singh, Priti Sinha, Neeru Singh, Rambabu Shah, Pappu Mishra, Sriram Prasad, Santosh Shardul, Anil Srivastav, Ankit Anand, Shailesh Gupta, Jitendra Rai, Anil Modi, Probir Chatterjee Rana along with BJP leaders and party workers in large numbers.
Party workers bid tearful adieu to Manoj Pathak. BJP leaders started gathering at Pathak’s residence since morning and said that it’s a big loss to the party.
Earlier in the day, BJP leader and Khadi board chairman Sanjay Seth, BJYM state president Amit Singh and others offered floral tributes as Manoj Pathak’s body reached Ranchi airport.
BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Dinesh Kumar condoled the death of Manoj Pathak and said that it’s a big loss to the BJP Mahanagar. Pathak played a vital role in the last assembly and Lok Sabha election where BJP registered emphatic win.
