Jamshedpur, April 10: On the orders of state food and civil supplies minister and Jamshedpur West MLA along with the support of Olidih unit MLA representative Sandhya Nandi and general secretary Amrendra Paswan, worn out electricity poles were changed in Shiv Mandir Line, Repeat Colony, Dimna on Monday.
It may be noted that the minister visited the region a few days back where the locals informed him about the issues related to road, sewer and electricity poles and demanded action on the same.
From the spot, the minister asked the officers of the electricity department to replace the poles.
Acting on the orders, the department replaced the electricity poles on Monday.
