Jamshedpur: Canon India organized a workshop on wedding photography on Thursday at Hotel Sonnet, Bistupur.
Anoop Guha, a master fine art and nature photographer from Kolkata, coordinated the workshop and explained the intricacies of the technique. He has been awarded by the Royal Photographic Society, Better Photography magazine, and Cleveland Museum of Fashion History to his credit.
The workshop provided hands on experience & learning on Canon EOS Technologies. Amateur photographers and professionals interacted with the expert and shared their experience. This workshop was a rare opportunity for the audience to get to know the art of this branch of photography.
He stated Weddings are about celebrating there should be fun. The more fun you have as the photographer the more relaxed those you are photographing will be. Perhaps the best way to loosen people up is to smile as the photographer and also suggested some tips for making awesome wedding photographs.
A clear information was given about understanding the light, how to improve the shooting skill, developing a strong portfolio and the entire secret about dark rooms.
Gian Taneja, Director, Apex Corporation India Private Limited, the authorized CANON dealer of Eastern India, which organized this event, explained why sharing the knowledge of this branch of photography was so important. People take photography very lightly without realizing what level of technique is involved and what care is needed before a good photograph gets snapped. Taneja has plans to organize more such events to bring about awareness and create interest in this field amongst more and more people in Jamshedpur.
The members of Photography association & professional photographers were invited and they participated in large nos. They were very satisfied with the seminar conducted on wedding photography, some of them stated it will be very useful and help using cameras in future. This session will help using cameras in making better wedding photography and in return better business for the photographers.
