Jamshedpur: A workshop on research paper writing was organised at Jamshedpur Women’s University under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta, with support from Registrar Dr. Salomi Kujur and led by Dr. Annapurna Jha of the CBC. The session was conducted by Dr. Aarti Mahato, Director of IIAM, Ranchi, who introduced students to various aspects of academic research and effective research paper writing.
During the workshop, Dr. Mahato explained key components such as topic selection, literature review, methodology design, data interpretation and formatting guidelines. She emphasised the importance of academic honesty, proper citation and structured writing for quality research output.
The event was attended by Commerce Dean Dr. Deepa Sharan, along with faculty members Dr. Rupali Patra, Dr. Madhuri Priyadarshini, Dr. Sarita Kumari, Dr. Vishwaraj Lal, Dr. Mamta Kumari and Naresh Kumar Mandal. Academic and non-academic officials, as well as students from various science disciplines, were also present.
The workshop aimed to enhance research skills among students and encourage them to pursue high-quality academic writing in their respective fields.
