Gamharia, August 30: A workshop on Personal Leadership Brands was organized at XITE in Gamharia where the resource person was Prof Dr Richard Sibbrensen, Faculty at Loyola University Chicago, Visiting Faculty at XLRI – International Human Resource Management, Ex-Global Vice President – HR AT&T). The workshop was organized for the students of BBA, B Com and BA Economics of the 2020-‘23 batches. It may be mentioned that XITE in Gamharia is dedicated to provide high quality education to the students of Gamharia, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and from other parts of Jharkhand and the adjoining states of Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and other parts of India.
The College prepares students in a manner that they would be braced up to take up senior level responsibilities in Indian Corporate houses, Global MNCs and high level job government jobs in and outside the country. They are also enabled to initiate their own ventures (Startups) and contribute to the cause of nation building and simultaneously to further their careers and aspirations.
The two-day workshop was conducted under the chairmanship of Programme Coordinator, Professor Nishith Singh. He said, “Leadership abilities enhance the scope of achieving career goals, broaden and deepen leadership impact. Leadership helps propagating brand through differentiating from other leaders by underlining its unique value.”
Prof Nishith Singh further explained that leadership abilities helped in managing the personal brand in a powerful and authentic manner. The students who attended the two day workshop were of the view that such workshops should be organized regularly.
Prof Singh, in his appreciation of Prof (Dr) Sibbrensen said, “XITE is honored to have such a distinguished international faculty for the two-day workshop in its campus.” Prof Dr Richard Sibbrensen said that the program had a very international orientation and he was happy to report that the students of XITE learned the concepts well. “I was happy to share my expertise with the students of XITE. I wish and hope that more XITE students join prestigious institutes like IIMs.”
Certificates of participation were awarded to the workshop students. A memento in appreciation was presented to Prof (Dr) Sibbrensen.
