Workshop on emergency first aid held at KPS Mango

Jamshedpur, Dec 11: A workshop on emergency first aid was organized at Kerala Public School (KPS), Mango, on Saturday. The participants were given training in saving human lives under emergency situations by a team of experts from Pratik Sangharsh Foundation.

The training sought to train the participants in saving people in different situations arising in day-to-day life such as fracture, snakebite, dog bite and fainting. The participants were given CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) training and made aware about the importance of ‘golden hour’ in emergency cases. Mementoes were also given to the participants by PSF. The school Principal Rupa Ghosh, Vice Principal Usha Rajshekharan and teachers were present during the workshop. PSF director Arijit Sarkar, Kumaresh Hajra, Vijon Sarkar and Mohammad Danish were gave the training.
