Workers hold protest before Prowess International company, demand justice for late Janardhan Rao

Gamharia, Oct 27: Workers and staff led by national secretary of Youth Intuc Rajeev Pandey protested before Prowess�International�Private Limited company after an employee N Janardhan Rao of the said company allegedly committed suicide after the management of the Gamharia based company failed to provide the bonus and salary. Demanding justice for the deceased the workers also shouted slogans against the company management.

On the other hand, employees of Industrial area situated RD Rubber Reclaim Ltd. and Poly Plastic India Private Limited also protested before the company demanding salary and bonus. On the occasion Intuc leader said, the company management should listen to their workers and must provide compensation and give temporary job to the kin of late N Janardhan Rao.

Rajeev Pandey further said that central and state government keeping in mind the issues related to the workers must make stricter laws  so that the workers are not harassed and are not forced into suicide. He informed that Intuc will soon launch campaign so that the labourers and workers get advantage of the  labour laws. On the occasion large numbers of workers were present.
