Jamshedpur’s L. Nageshwar Rao elected Karate Association of India joint secretary

Jamshedpur, Oct 27: Steel City Karate coach and General Secretary of Jharkhand State Karate Do Association (JSKA) Kyoshi L. Nageshwar Rao has been elected the joint secretary of Karate Association of India (KAI) during the election/selection of the executive members of the association at Guwahati (Assam) on October 23.

The election was conducted in free, fair and peaceful atmosphere under BP Katakey, former judge, Guwahati High Court and TT Tara, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court as the observers. Affiliated KAI members from 30 states of India participated. The election was held as per order & guidelines of Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of India.

Other office bearers of KAI are Hanshi Likha Tara-President, Shihan Rajneesh Choudhary-General Secretary, Shihan Rajesh Agarwal-Treasurer, Kyoshi Arshad Ali Khan-Tech Director, Shihan Paramjeet Singh R.C.-Chairman.

Hanshi Likha Tara, President, KAI, addressing the members said that KAI will organize National Championship in any part of India and the participants will be provided free lodging & fooding during the Championship. Everyone appreciated his decision and thanked him.  

Kyoshi L. Nageshwar Rao, Gl. Secretary, JSKA said, under the able leadership of Likha Tara, KAI will prosper and reach new heights. Nageshwar Rao appealed the youths to maintain good health to remain fit fine with a healthy body and sound mind.
