Jamshedpur: A contract worker, Jhabu Mahato, resident of Kandra Busti, was injured in a mishap in Adhunik Alloys and Power Limited plant on Tuesday after being exposed to hot air coming out of a furnace after it got punctured in the steel melting shop of the plant.
The company management rushed the victim to Tata Main Hospital.
The officials said they were doing everything possible to ensure best treatment for the worker.
This was informed by the company spokesperson.
