Worker hangs to death in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 26: Dulal Hembram (38), a worker from the Parsudih police station area, committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday night. According to his brother, Dulal resided alone in Gadiwan Patti, Kitadih, Parsudih, and had been grappling with depression exacerbated by a leg injury that prevented him from going to work. Due to financial constraints, he was unable to undergo surgery for his injured leg, which further contributed to his mental anguish. Allegedly battling drug addiction as well, Dulal was found dead after he hanged himself from a ceiling fan.

Following the suicide, local authorities were informed who arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.
