Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Parliamentary Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Saryu Roy said that the crisis is that man first creates problems and then finds its diagnosis.
Today, the environmental crisis, biodiversity and rivers are struggling for survival. The government took a part in their preservation, while others are bent on the destruction of nature in the name of development.
Zoological Survey of India’s work and achievements are commendable but it should also assess the challenges. Roy was addressing Zoological Survey of India based Patna regional center�s Golden Jubilee function. Roy said that the brilliant-minded people are playing with laws and ruining the environment.
Such people need to understand their obligations, otherwise future generations will not forgive us.
On the occasion director of the Zoological Survey of India Kailash Chandra, former additional director general Dr RK Varshney, Patna University Zoology Department Head Prof. Dr. RK Sinha, head of the Center, Dr. Gopal Sharma also addressed the gathering.
