Jamshedpur, Sept 24: The women of Co-operative Society Colony, Parsudih Church Road, organized a vibrant Dandiya and Garba evening on Tuesday. The program, held at the colony grounds, witnessed the participation of over 75 residents. Dressed in colorful traditional attire, women and teenagers danced in groups to the rhythmic beats of devotional Garba and lively filmy songs.
The event began with a Ganesh Vandana, setting a devotional atmosphere that carried throughout the evening. Participants expressed that such cultural gatherings not only celebrated tradition but also acted as a guide for future generations to cherish their heritage.
The night was filled with energy and joy as participants enjoyed Garba Raas and Dandiya until late hours. The event concluded with everyone relishing delicious food, adding flavor to the festive celebration.
Notable participants included Babli, Swati, Komal, Usha, Vinita, Sindhu, Sunita, Lalita, Anita, Neetu, Archana, Rani, Annu, Pratima, Guddi, Santosh, Mohini and several others from the society. The successful event brought together residents in celebration of tradition, dance, and togetherness.
