Seraikela: A woman was knocked to death by a speeding tractor near Sini Railway Over-bridge on Saturday.
Villagers blocked the main road for several hours demanding compensation for the next of kin of the deceased. The incident occurred around 8.30 am when the tractor ran over the woman.
Police lodged an FIR against the truck driver and sent the body to the government hospital for autopsy.
