Jamshedpur, Aug 23: A woman was reportedly beaten up by two women near Sindhi Hotel at Mango Chowk on Tuesday. The latter caught the former by hair and thrashed her in broad daylight. In the meantime, the woman being beaten up took an auto-rickshaw and fled the scene. The two women, mother-daughter duo, said they were residents of Deshbandhu Line, Mango. The mother said she had beaten up the woman for allegedly pressurizing her teenaged brother who was barely 19 years old to marry her.
