Jamshedpur: Woman accuses Jharkhand health minister’s driver of sexual exploitation, intimidation

Jamshedpur, June 10: A woman resident of Kadma in Jamshedpur has lodged a complaint case in Jamshedpur civil court against Munna Singh, a private driver of a state minister, of sexually exploitation and intimidaton for last nine years and refusing to marriage. 
The Jamshedpur civil court has directed the Kadma thana to lodge a case and investigate into the accusation. The woman has accused the driver of raping her, intimidation, forcing her for abortion and taking away Rs 7 lakh by cheating her. 
The complainant has said that this has been continuing since 2012. The woman had earlier written to Jamshedpur city SP, Kolhan DIG, IG and  DGP but so far no action has been taken. The woman has complained that she had two daughters and had taken divorce from her husband in January 2021 and claimed that Munna Singh forged friendship citing that his wife was terminally ill and then developed physical relation. The woman was having a legal dispute with her husband for several years and the accused took advantage of that situation. The accused knew that the woman’s brother was in Tata Main Hospital and took Rs 7 lakh promising to do business and return it at the earliest.
