Jamshedpur : Rain accompanied by strong wind stuck the city on Thursday evening. More than dozen cars and two-wheelers were damaged as they were trapped under falling tree in Anna Chowk, Govindpur.
Several trees fell in many areas in the city following hailstorm. A tree fell on a car parked near Anna Chowk. A woman and the driver of the car narrowly escaped the incident. Somehow the woman and the driver were ejected from the car after the incident.
The car driver’s name is Munna. The rear of the car was completely damaged. After getting the information, the police also reached the spot and started trying to remove the tree that fell on the car.
