Jamshedpur : The emphatic victory of the BJP in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and impressive performance in Chhattisgarh and Delhi in the Assembly elections has boosted the morale of the Jharkhand BJP ahead
of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The jubilant rank and file of the party celebrated the victory bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets at several junctions in the city though the main attraction was the victory rally taken out by the senior party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Raghuvar Das.

“The mandate in the four states clearly calls for Congress free India and this precisely is what our leader Narendra Modi appealed to the voters ahead of the Assembly elections to the five states,” said Das with a bright smile on his face.

He also said the performance of the BJP in the four states is the reflection of what the party is likely to repeat in the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.

“BJP will win all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the com- ing Lok Sabha elections,” said Das adding that the outcome of the elections has boosted the morale of the party workers, who would now onwards make all effort to ensure elect Modi-led government at Centre in the 2014.

Earlier, Das led motorcycle rally that begin its journey from Agrico and moved around prominent junctions of the city before culminating at the Sakchi roundabout later in the day.

Scores of party workers riding on hun- dreds of two-wheelers waved the saffron flag amid ear piercing sound of drums and chanting of slogans.

The former state president of the party, Dr Dineshanand Goswami said price rise and corruption has led to Congress’s debacle in the Assembly elections.

“BJP will improve its tally from here on and will form a government at the Center in 2014 Lok Sabha elections,” said Goswami.

The party believes support of the scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) voters also played a role in driving BJP improve its tally, immensely, in the four states.

“Certainly, SC and ST voters along with the other segments of the voters have helped the BJP in several pockets across the four states,” said Naresh Paswan, district president, BJP SC cell.
