Will not tolerate looting of govt. property: Sunil Burnwal

Ranchi, Dec. 22: Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sunil Kr. Burnwal said that Looting of govt. property will not be tolerated. Illegal occupancy by a person on the govt. property is a serious issue and action will be taken against the officers who initiate such matters. The secretary said it while reviewing the complaints at Jan Samvad Kendra.

In connection with using old bricks for the construction of upgraded girl middle school at Borma in Godda, the secretary directed to take action against the BDO since there is no reference of withdrawal of Rs. 12 lac by the Secretary & President of Gram Shiksha Samiti in the investigation report of the BDO.

Regarding bringing the govt. hand pump under the boundary by Mr. Pramod Kr. Das at Hiranpur, Pakur, the Secretary said that the BDO should be charged as to why he didn�t file an FIR when it was established that the person was privatizing govt. property in his personal interest.

Regarding missing of a 67 year old person Mr. Prassanav Bhuainya, the cleaner at St. Joseph Church in East Singhbhoom, Mr. Burnwal said that the matter should be investigated by the S.P. himself. Mr. Bhuainya was abducted on 24th February 2015.

In connection with non-payment of wages to 31 MGNAREGA workers out of 50 for deepening the Purnadih pond at Hazaribag, Mr. Burnwal directed the DDC to send the composite report within 7 days.

Apart from this, many other complaints were reviewed by the Secretary & proper directions were given.
