Saraikela, March 16: A Kuchai youth while returning from the weekly market in the evening was attacked by wild boars and was seriously injured. His private parts were bitten off by the boars during the attack.
According to information, Kuchai resident Manmohan Singh Munda had gone to the weekly village market to purchase vegetables and other household necessities. His home is three kilometers away from the weekly market. Munda was returning home after his purchases. The way to his house is through a jungle. Manmohan had two bags on either hands. It was nearly dark in the jungle. All of a sudden a pack of wild boars attacked him. He wqas unable to defend himself because of the bags he had in both hands. His shouts for help went unheard in the desolate jungle. The boars’ attack caused grievous injuries and his private parts were bitten off. Later when passersby noticed Manmohan Singh Munda lying on the jungle path in critical condition, they rushed him to Saraikela Sadar Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
