Why ban on recruitments in government departments on the pretext of Corona?

By Priyanka Saurabh

Due to the Corona era, youth have been facing a lot of employment difficulties. Because of which he is under mental stress today. Since March, the news that the Ministry of Finance has imposed diseases on government jobs emanating in all government departments is making unemployed youth more scared than Corona. But now after six months, the Finance Ministry itself has made it clear that there is no restriction on the recruitment of government posts. Government agencies like SSC, UPSC, Railway Recruitment Board will make recruitment as before. Along with this, the ministry made it clear that the expenditure department’s circular dated September 4 is related to the internal process for the creation of posts.

Clap, thali, or bell rang for 5 minutes in the evening of Teacher’s Day on the 5th day in the house of Haryana State. Every unemployed youth of the state and people in support of him appeared on the roofs. Will the whole of India come together in this mission for the government recruitments and will reach the government in the same language in which the government understands.

The talk of a ban on government jobs also came up by the state governments across the country. In the state of Haryana adjoining the capital, the recruitment process should be considered closed for the last six months. The Haryana Government has not done any work on the recruitment advertisements that were released before the corona lockdown, so far as the new recruitment is concerned. Not only this, in March, after the results were released for the posts of instructors in ITI institutes across the state, ie state industrial training institutes, but the schedule for document verification has also been resumed and the recruitment has been hung in the name of Corona.

Despite the ten thousand vacant posts of primary teachers across the state, the Haryana government is not taking the name of filling these posts, while billions of money are being collected from millions of candidates in the name of eligibility by conducting the eligibility test for teacher recruitment every year. If there is no recruitment of teachers then what is the rationale for the eligibility test? Similarly, the Haryana government has sent the recruitments of other departments in the name of Corona in cold storage.

The central government has said that the ban on recruitments is just a rumor. The Finance Ministry, while issuing an annotation, has clarified that there is no ban on any new recruitment to fill vacant posts in the Government of India. The Ministry stated that the circular of the Department of Expenditure (04 September 2020) is related to the internal process for the creation of posts and it does not affect recruitment in any way.

But even after passing the recruitment examination, the candidates of Haryana state are requesting for documents verification. Millions of youth here expressed their displeasure by playing a thali against unemployment and government dictatorship in Haryana. Today Khatter Government employment has been a trending tweet for the last two days. The youth is angry and giving slogans -Anapadh neta ghoom rahein, mahngi-mahngi Karon mein, degree lekar riksha khinche, aaj yuwa bazaron mein.( illiterate leaders are roaming in expensive cars! after obtaing degree youth are pulling riksha in markets today !!)

Sweta Dhul, who is fighting for the youth and unemployed candidates in Haryana, told through social media that the voice of the youth, the thali, and ghanti should now be heard by the government. Youths are now in dire need of employment. In the data released today, Haryana is number one in unemployment. Here the government has kept all the recruitments in the Five Year Plan. Some have been hanging for more than five years. Many of the recruitments have been rigged. You are not doing anything. No staff nor any time table of Haryana Staff Selection. Mistakes in question papers, mistakes in answer keys. No reply to RTI. The government should listen to the call of the youth to stop all these atrocities.

In Haryana, 91% of the youth in the last seven years were unhappy with the government recruitment process while 9% were satisfied that even the recruitment was very furious. In such a situation, do not take youth seriously and do not consider unemployment to be a problem. Not working in action_mod may be overshadowed by the current government here! Along with the notification, the central government should also direct the state governments to resolve all the issues related to recruitment as soon as possible and take concrete steps to reduce unemployment. Otherwise, India will not take long to become a country of unemployed.
