Whatever the circumstances, never lose hope: Sister Anselm

Jamshedpur, September 3: The hard work and relentless efforts of the council moderator, odyssey moderators and council members for making “Odyssey 2016” a grand success has finally bore fruit as it conducted the prize distribution for the event on 2nd September.

This annual cultural fest of Little Flower School (LFS) had an overwhelming participation of approximately 1400 students, 1394 to be precise. The fest began in 1991 with 6 events and has reached great heights today with 50 events comprising quizzes, dances and other interesting events. The addition to this year’s event list was Model United Nations.

For the prize distribution ceremony, Sister Anselm of sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny was invited as Chief Guest who was astonished to see the amazing participation of the students and thus said in her speech to never give up no matter whatsoever circumstances may arise, never to lose hope.

There will be ups and downs in the path of life but we should not give up looking at our downfalls and therefore, keep continuing in the path of progress.

Coming to awardees, individual championship was bagged by Tanay Sudarshan and Devangshi Karmakar in the junior section and Akanshit Hembrom and Debarati Pal in the senior section.

Class championship was bagged by class ‘7c’ and ‘10c’ in Junior and Senior level respectively. This year, almost 900 certificates were awarded along with almost 300 medals to only the first prize winners.
