Water tower at Borakanta village to benefit 700

Jamshedpur, September 11: In order to provide facilities to the Adivasis of Borakanta village in Bihad forest under Matogoda panchayat of Musabani block who have been for years living life as hell, village mukhiya Karthik Hembrom on Sunday laid foundation for water tower worth Rs 4 lakh.

The water is being built by Water and cleanliness department of East Singhbhum district. On the occasion village mukhiya said, the water tower will be constructed in the next 15 days and the contractor for water tower is Gemini Enterprises.

The capacity of the water tower is 4000 liters which would help 700 villagers and they would won’t have to go here and there for water in the summer season.

The new water tower will benefit villagers of Bodra Tola, Purty Tola, Hansda Tola and Borakata. On the occasion Jaleshwar Burma, Parvati Singh, Kante Handa, Budhu Bodra, Ganesh Gagrai, Bamiya Purty, Soga purty, Kandra Mardi, Motay Purty, Madan Hansda and others were present.
