Water supply stopped at Govindpur and Parsudih for four days

Jamshedpur :For the last four days, there has been an outcry over drinking water in Govindpur and Parasudih. Despite the assurance from the Department of Drinking Water, there was no water in the area on Tuesday and the administration is sleeping peacefully. It is worth mentioning that after the storm and rain in the city, water supply has come to a standstill in Govindpur-Parsudih area.

Tuesday is the fourth day where there is no supply of water in 1900 houses of about 21 panchayats. After the thunderstorm that came on Friday, electricity was cut off and the metering went bad. Due to this, water could not be transported from Luabasa to Intakvel. Supply was stopped due to lack of water storage in the tanks. Currently repair is being done.

It is likely that it will be rectified on Tuesday. Only after this, water can be supplied at any time. Here people are troubled by the problem of water. Like, running the work by juggling water like this.

Anuj Sinha, SDO of the Department of Drinking Water Sanitation and Water Supply, said that the metering line has deteriorated due to falling of trees on the electric wire during the typhoon. It is expected to be fixed by Tuesday. After the fix, the water supply will start at some point on Wednesday.
