Jamshedpur, Dec. 15: At the ongoing state wide water sources cleanliness drive, volunteers of Yugantar Bharati collected water samples from Baroda Ghat, Naya Basti and Baghbera Colony in Baghbera area, Bodhanwala Ghat in Bistupur, Ramnagar in Kadma, Har Godown Kharkai River, Domuhani in Sonari, Purana Talab between Sangam Bihar and Balka Apartment and Gandhi Ghat in Mango.
The technical expert team of Yugantar Bharati also collected water samples from ponds and handpumps. The samples will examined and a detailed report will be prepared.
On 16 and 17 December the findings will subsequently be submitted to the concerned officials as well as the anti-pollution board.
On December 20 state wide cleanliness drive of water sources will be organized and Environment Panchayat will be held to prepare blueprint for observing 2016 as water source cleanliness year.
