Jamshedpur, July 5: On Wednesday, a delegation led by Neeraj Singh, state convenor of the Bharatiya Janata Party business cell, met Rituraj Sinha, managing director of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Structure Limited (formerly JUSCO), demanding supply of drinking water in the settlements of Kadma and Sonari.
BJP leader told Rituraj Sinha that Sonari’s Bacha Singh Basti, Kapali Basti, Roop Nagar and Sonari have many settlements where pipelines have been laid by TSUISL for supply of drinking water, but till now there is no water connection in these settlements.
The BJP leader claimed that Rituraj Sinha told that a pipeline has been laid for drinking water and soon it will be connected to the water tower and people will be given drinking water connection, which will take about a month. A
The BJP leader also requested that old pipeline there should be replaced so that the people in the area can get drinking water because there is a pipeline laid long ago which is not sufficient for the current population.
