Jamshedpur: A delegation of BJP leaders led by MLA representative (Jamshedpur East) Pawan Agrawal met Rajeev Kumar of JUSCO water management department on Friday and raised the issue of water crisis being faced by the residents of Punjabi Refugee Colony in Golmuri. The party leaders said a large number of households were reeling under the water crisis. They claimed to have got an assurance regarding cleaning of old water supply pipes within a week and laying of new pipes wherever needed. New water connections would be given to 180 households whose owners had applied earlier and the remaining households would be given new connections on request, said party leaders.
