Water crisis concern a disturbing thought

Water Will be everywhere but   there may not  be enough to drink ,as oceans and sea levels are rising up 

Lakes and rivers are on the verge  to shrink…. 

Huge glaciers are melting rapidly

Famines and floods are occurring frequently

Forest covers conducive to hold water depleting quickly

Effects of global warming showing  conspicuously…..

   man still remains callous, goes about cutting trees, waging wars Polluting environment and wasting water unscrupulously…….

    Water is a precious resource

An  invaluable vital force 

It makes our planet special

For life evolved only on earth

Water being its major sustaining source……

   When we feel very  thirsty, our throats run dry

Nothing satiates us as much as a glass of cool fresh natural water than any other man made drink that our wealth could  buy……

    Great civilizations of ancient times flourished

 at the banks of perennial rivers

Humans learnt to adopt sedentary lifestyle

Where there was copious availability of water……

    Man avails water for agriculture to grow crops and produce his food

Water in industries is utilized for manufacturing goods…..

Apart from quenching thirst we require water various other purposes

Where does its necessity does not matter

Where does it does not come to be of use…….

     Though  water exists in abundance

Very less is fit for  plants animals and our consumption

Hence there’s urgent need to save it to

Safeguard survival of our coming generations….

     Using water sparingly and wisely checking wastage by each one of us

will go a long way in mitigating water crisis…. 

     Let’s make water conservation a part of our life

Not just something we  talk about, once in a while…….
