Jamshedpur: As part of the Swachhta Hi Seva Fortnight under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0, a special program focusing on “Waste to Wealth” was organized at the Jugsalai Nagar Parishad office premises on Saturday. The fortnight, which began on September 17, will continue till Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2.
The exhibition featured creative displays under themes such as Waste to Art, Innovation and Best Practices, Kabadr se Jugad, and SHG stalls. MLA of Jugsalai, Mangal Kalindi, inspected the stalls and interacted with participants. He lauded the efforts of women SHGs and school children, encouraging them to work on the 3R principle—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—to promote waste reduction and efficient management for a cleaner, greener Jugsalai.
All stalls set up under the supervision of Executive Officer Sandeep Paswan were inspected, with participants receiving appreciation for their efforts. A signature campaign and cleanliness oath were also undertaken to reinforce the spirit of the mission.
