Jamshedpur : Jusco has taken an initiative of wall painting to spread message of cleanliness. After the first step in 2015, this is the second time when Jusco has planned to have more wall paintings for beautifying the walls with messages.
Today schools like Jusco School South Park; Jusco School, Kadma and Kasidih High School completed their wall paintings based on Swachh Bharat, road safety and energy conservation at one of the entrances to the Bistupur market.
Ashish Mathur, managing director, Jusco today visited the Bistupur market to mark the inauguration of the wall art by students. Students of the schools, their principals and teachers were also present at the venue today.
Two other schools- J.H. Tarapore School and Tarapore School Agrico were also given the task of wall painting on water conservation and making the planet green on one of the other entrances which will be completed tomorrow.
“Here, in Jamshedpur, people keep complaining about garbage littered on the roads. This new concept will instill civic sense among the people.
Not only that, once the idea becomes a hit, people can reclaim public spaces that are currently cluttered with illegal hoardings and posters,” said an official.
“Our aim is to educate to spread the word as far and wide as possible, if possible in local languages too. I would recommend that such paintings be drawn in other public places as well,” he said.
