Voters lend support to Shiv Shankar Singh, raises hopes among Non-TISCO area voters

Jamshedpur: The voters of Jamshedpur East have spoken, showing unprecedented enthusiasm in the assembly elections. Independent candidate Shiv Shankar Singh expressed his gratitude to the “deity-like” voters, thanking them for their overwhelming support. Singh is confident that the enthusiasm displayed by voters pressing the Gas Stove symbol signifies a clear win and a fresh wave of change in Jamshedpur East.
Despite a moderate increase in voter turnout, Singh believes the result will favor his independent campaign, emphasizing that the Gas Stove symbol represents prosperity and well-being in every household. In his post-election remarks, he stated that the election was driven by the will of the people who voted to overcome 25 years of stagnation.
Singh cast his own vote at CP Samiti Middle School in Cable Basti and commended the spirited participation across various neighborhoods, including Birsanagar, Lakshminagar, Jemco Azad Basti, Burmamines, Agrico, and Sakchi. He noted that the high turnout, particularly in the first few hours, reflects the residents’ determination to reject dynastic politics and establish new leadership in the region.
