Jamshedpur: A voters� awareness rally was taken out by school students in Gamharia on Saturday. The students of Gamharia English School, Vidya Bharati High School and Janata High School participated in the event. There were more than 500 students during the rally.
Gamharia BDO Gauri Shankar Sharma flagged off the rally which moved through Lal Building Chowk, Chhota Gamharia and Durga Puja Maidan. He asked the participants to spread awareness among the people by raising various slogans for voting. The teachers of the school also participated in the awareness rally. They appealed to people to exercise their right to vote on 12th May without fail.
Those present during the rally included Himanshu Sarkar, SD Prasad, Puja Pallavi, Radha Pal, Rinku Sinha, Moni Lahiri, Amrita Singh, Sunita Pathak, Meera Verma, Priyanka Singh, Nivedita Chatterjee, Reema Banerjee and Sunita Mishra.
