Jamshedpur: People�s trust in Tata Motors Hospital and its doctors has risen. All hospital departments are functioning well and facilities have also increased for patients. This was observed on Saturday by Tata Motors plant head Sampat Kumar during the inauguration of 45th workshop of Tata Motors Medical Society (TMMS).
Addressing the gathering, Kumar said he had got his medical check-up done on 20th April 1989 after joining the company and it is a coincidence that he is addressing the workshop of TMMS on the same day.
Dr Sanjay Kumar, Head, Tata Motors Hospital, said the hospital had started its journey from a dispensary. Today there are 404 beds in the hospital. Modern healthcare facilities are available at the hospital today.
Dr Somnath Ghosh, secretary of TMMS, informed the gathering about the achievements of the organization. Dr Govind Makhariya of AIIMS New Delhi informed the gathering about non-alcoholic lever diseases. Dr Devashish Ghosh of Apollo Hospital, Kolkata, spoke on the importance of lifestyle changes in tackling heart diseases.
Other participants included Dr Rakesh Rajput, Dr Ashish Rai, Manas Mishra, Ravi Shankar Singh, Deepak Kumar, Dr Swastika Chakravarty, Dr SL Srivastava, Partho Mukhopadhyaya, Dr Santosh Kumar and Dr AK Upadhyaya.
