Jamshedpur, April 10: ‘Voter Awareness Program 2024’ was organized at the Srinath University in Adityapur on Wednesday, April 10. The chief guest on the occasion was Adityapur Municipal Commissioner, Alok Kumar Dubey The other guests included Assistant Municipal Commissioners  Abhishek Kumar and Shambhu Prasad Kushwaha, City Manager Devashish Pradhan and Vikas Kumar Shukla. The guests were welcomed with bouquets

Alok Kumar Dubey praised the energetic electoral enthusiasm evident among those present. He applauded the meticulous planning of the awareness program and emphasized the vital importance of citizens actively participating in the democratic process. He encouraged all, especially first-time voters, to cast their votes thoughtfully, highlighting the Election Commission’s relentless efforts to increase voter turnout.

In the culmination of a month-long series of initiatives, certificates were awarded to students who excelled in diverse competitions, such as wall painting, debates, and essay contests. These endeavours aimed to cultivate a profound sense of electoral duty. Students delivered compelling presentations, unveiling the array of voter awareness activities planned by Srinath University

The National Service Scheme also organized a voter awareness rally with its volunteers.

At the conclusion of the event, all present solemnly pledged to uphold the principles of fair voting. Among those present were Sukhdev Mahto, Chancellor of Srinath University, Prof. Dr. S.N. Singh, Vice Chancellor, J Rajesh, Dean of Administration, along with assistant professors and students of the university.
