Jamshedpur, April 10: In an executive meeting held on Wednesday at the office of the Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee in Kashidih, the focus was on expanding the committee to enhance coordination among the city’s 175 Ram Navami Akhara committees. President Arun Singh proposed the inclusion of persons contributing positively to society and some members from the Akhara Committee as officials. Consequently, Pramod Tiwari was appointed as the patron, while Lalan Yadav, Kanhaiya Yadav, and Diljay Bose were appointed as vice-presidents. Dheeraj Singh, Dharmendra Kumar, Pradeep Mukherjee, Jitendra Pramanik, and Nandkishore Thakur were appointed secretaries.
Chief patron of the committee, Abhay Singh, congratulated the newly appointed officials and advised them to streamline the number of Ram Navami Akhara committees. He emphasized the importance of addressing and resolving issues faced by all Akhara committees, urging them to communicate their concerns to the Central Committee, which would then liaise with the district administration for resolutions. Singh also highlighted plans for a grand Ram Navami Akhara celebration this year, with the Jamshedpur Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee playing a significant role.
Vice President Vijay Tiwari offered the vote of thanks. Executive General Secretary Praveen Sethi, Vice President Omprakash Singh, Vice President Manoj Vajpayee, and other officials were present at the meeting.
