Jamshedpur, April 13: In a humanitarian gesture, social organization “Voice of Humanity” (VoH)has extended financial support of Rs 36,000 to the family of Mehndi Kumari, a tea vendor who suffered serious burn injuries in a recent incident.
Mehndi Kumari was reportedly attacked by anti-social elements who threw boiling tea at her, leaving her severely injured. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Burn Care Unit of Tata Main Hospital. Her daily medical expenses, including medicines and ointments, are around Rs 5,000, placing a heavy financial burden on her family.
Understanding the situation, the organization stepped forward to provide immediate relief. Founder Hari Singh Rajput appealed to the public to come forward and support the family to ensure uninterrupted treatment and her speedy recovery.
Several members, including Sourav Banerjee, D.K. Jain, Abhishek Chaudhary, Gagandeep Singh Saggu, and Uma Mahesh, also contributed to the effort and visited the hospital to meet the victim’s family.
