Jamshedpur: District Legal Services Authority ( DLSA) Jamshedpur along with cooperation of the Central Jail, Ghaghidih, kick started a Vocational Training Programme and Awareness on Women & Hygiene amongst the women inmates of the Jail. NGO Karuna Shechen is conducting the programme.
The aim and motive of the programme is to provide all possible assistance to the women inmates of the jail so that they can get some skill development training which will help them to lead a better life after their release from the jail.
Soumendra Nath Sikdar, secretary, District Legal Services Authority, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, Chanchal Kumari, District Child Protection Officer, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, and Dr. Jaya Mitra, Psychotrapic were present on the occasion.
