Jamshedpur, July 7: The Primary Segment of K.P.S Kadma took the initiative to promote healthy eating habits among children. A Quiz competition was organized with the theme “Healthy Food” in the school premises on Friday. The students of Class I, II and III participated in the competition.
The Quiz competition was segregated into levels of Quarter final, Semi final and Finals. In the Quarter final round, all the students of class I, II and III got a chance to participate. The school aspired to make this competition a participative session with 100 % involvement of children.
The students were tested on their General awareness and grasping skills. The final round comprised of 4 teams- Vitamin A, B, C and D. Each team represented students of class I, II and III. The Quiz Competition was a fun loving experience for toddlers. The quiz was conducted through a Power point presentation with colourful visuals, pictures, puzzles and audio visual rounds. They participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The winner of the quiz competition was Team Vitamin C which constituted of Ashmit Kumar class IA, Avani Kumari class II B and Aditya Sharma of class III E.
Team Vitamin B was the runner-up of the competition.
The coordinators of the primary wing Almelu Ravishankar and Shalini Sethi encouraged the students and helped them perform better.
Earlier, the Principal of the school Sharmila Mukherjee welcomed the students and motivated them to participate in such events.
