Jamshedpur, Oct 7: This would be the golden opportunity for Sikh mass of Jamshedpur to utilize their Durga Puja holidays in a different manner. The Sikh religious organization Dharam Prachar Committee (DPC), Jamshedpur is all set to organise �Virsa Pehchaan� (know your culture) camp from October 10-13 at the Bistupur Gurdwara sahib.
The camp is being jointly organised by Dharam Prachar Committee (DPC) and Bistupur Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (BGPC).
Active member of committee, Jaswant Singh �Jassu� informed that, however four-day camp focused on religious programmes but this time it will be in different clever and flavour. However this would be 5th edition but very first time participants will be apprised about Sikh culture, history and heritage.
Besides that aspirants will be taught continental food cooking, daily routine household activities and one slideshow to be displayed on family disputes and its remedies. Harmeet Singh said participant aged above eight will be eligible for camp and its timing will be morning 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
While the entry form are available at all Gurdwara sahib of Jamshedpur at cost of Rs. 50 the forms should be submitted by October 9.
The religious preachers from Ludhiana Harpal Singh and Malkit Singh will be the special guests� invitees as local preachers Shamsher Singh, Gurpratap Singh and Manpreet Kaur will also share their religious thoughts with the participants.
