Jamshedpur: Maa Vipad Tarini puja was held with great fervour at the Rankini temple in Kadma on Tuesday. A large number of devotees, majority of them women, were present on the occasion. The temple general secretary Janardan Pandey said Goddess Vipad Tarini was an incarnation of Goddess Durga. He said it is believed that worshipping Maa Vipad Tarini protects a person from all sorts of dangers and evils. The puja is performed mainly by women from Bengali community.
