Jamshedpur: Vinod Pundit was elected the district president of International Human Rights Association (IHRA) on Friday. A meeting of the outfit members was convened at Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur.
The district branch of the outfit was formed on this occasion. Other members elected unanimously include Manoj Kumar Agrawal, Devashish Majumdar, Tarun Kumar and Poonam Gupta.
Presiding over the meeting, the state vice president of the outfit Sujit Kumar Giri said IHRA was expanding itself with the view to strengthen its base in the district.
